Privacy Policy
Your question goes to the model. You don’t.
GPTAnon sends the selected AI model your prompt without attaching your name, email, account identity, or original IP address to the model request. This does not make the request anonymous to OpenRouter or the selected provider, which may receive and retain request metadata under their own policies.

Your GPTAnon account identity is not sent to the model.
Every request passes through GPTAnon’s API routing and OpenRouter. We send OpenRouter and the selected model provider only the prompt and context needed to answer—not your GPTAnon account identity.

BUILT TO FORGET
Ordinary Chat has no saved conversation transcript.
For ordinary Chat, GPTAnon doesn’t create a saved server-side chat history, attach conversations to your account, or build a conversation profile from what you ask.
Pasted paid reviews are separate from ordinary Chat history. Drafts and results stay in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes, while GPTAnon keeps an encrypted result server-side for up to 24 hours to recover the paid result without charging twice. This recovery record is not a saved conversation transcript. Account and usage records, and the selected provider’s retention, are separate.
Your current conversation remains temporarily available in your browser so you can use it. Disappearing Chat then clears GPTAnon’s browser/session copy according to the 5-minute, 15-minute, or until-clear setting you choose. Browser history, screenshots, clipboard contents, device backups, operational security records, and provider copies are separate exceptions.
YOUR QUESTIONS AREN’T GPTANON TRAINING DATA
GPTAnon doesn’t train AI models on your prompts.
GPTAnon does not use your prompts or responses to train its own models. OpenRouter and the selected model provider receive the content needed to generate an answer and apply their own retention and training terms.
Your GPTAnon account identity and original IP address are not included as part of the model request. Review the selected provider’s current privacy source before sending sensitive content.
DISAPPEARING CHAT
Useful now. Gone when you’re done.
Your current question stays while you use it. Previous questions fade and clear after 5 or 15 minutes—or remain until you clear them. These controls clear GPTAnon’s browser/session copy; they do not change processing or retention by OpenRouter or the selected model provider. Clearing is not a provider-deletion request and cannot erase copies outside GPTAnon’s session.

The model sees your question—not who sent it.
Anything you type into a prompt can be read by OpenRouter and the selected model provider. Leave out names or identifying details you don’t want included in the question.
What we collect—and why
Anonymous users: We derive an anonymous wallet identity from the request IP to enforce a separate daily Free-usage allowance. This record is used to enforce the limit and is not linked to conversation content.
Registered users: We store the username you choose, an optional email address, and your subscription status. We do not require a real name or phone number.
Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. GPTAnon stores the minimum account and subscription records needed to provide paid access.
Support messages: If you contact us through our support form, we store your message and optional email so we can respond.
Third-party services
GPTAnon routing, OpenRouter, and selected providers: GPTAnon processes prompt content through its API and sends it to OpenRouter, which routes it to the selected AI provider/model. OpenRouter and that provider apply their own privacy policies. GPTAnon account identity is not sent as part of the model request. GPTAnon still keeps the account and usage records needed to operate the service. The selected provider and its privacy label are shown before you send. Provider terms can vary by endpoint and change over time.
Stripe: Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. GPTAnon keeps the account and subscription records needed to provide paid access. Read Stripe’s privacy policy.
MIT Tiptoe private web search: Private web search uses MIT Tiptoe. It is separate from ordinary model requests; review the Tiptoe research for its documented threat model and assumptions. Read the Tiptoe paper.
Aggregate advertising measurement: GPTAnon may classify a visit as Microsoft Ads traffic from the presence of a Microsoft click identifier or an explicit Microsoft/Bing paid-campaign label. GPTAnon keeps only the coarse microsoft_ads source for the current session and reports aggregate arrivals and newly created account signups. GPTAnon does not store or export the raw click identifier, send Microsoft conversion uploads, use UET or ad remarketing, or build persistent advertising profiles.
GOOGLE ACCOUNT & WORKSPACE DATA
Google data is used only for the feature you choose.
Google sign-in: If you choose Continue with Google, GPTAnon requests only Google's basic OpenID Connect sign-in scopes: openid, profile, and email. Google shares a unique account identifier, email address, name, and profile photo when available. GPTAnon uses that information to create or sign you into your GPTAnon account, keep the account profile current, and support account recovery and service administration.
Website Google sign-in does not request or grant GPTAnon access to Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google Workspace content.
Google Workspace integrations: If you separately authorize a GPTAnon Google Workspace integration, it accesses only the Google Workspace data required for the feature and shown in Google's consent screen. For a selected-text workflow, GPTAnon receives only the text you explicitly select and send from the supported Workspace document or presentation; it does not silently scan files, read unrelated documents, or access your Workspace account in the background. Selected Workspace text is processed through GPTAnon routing and may be sent to OpenRouter and the AI provider/model you choose to generate a response. OpenRouter and that provider apply their own privacy, retention, and training terms. GPTAnon does not add Workspace text to a saved server-side conversation history.
Limited use: Google user data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing GPTAnon feature you requested, maintain account security, comply with law, and provide support when needed. GPTAnon does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or personalized advertising, use it for credit or lending decisions, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Human access: GPTAnon does not permit human access to Google user data except when necessary to provide support you request, protect security, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent.
Your controls: You can revoke Google account access from Google's third-party connections page. You can also disconnect or uninstall a Workspace integration through the controls provided by Google Workspace. To delete your GPTAnon account and associated account records, contact GPTAnon through the support form. Manage Google account connections.

Cookies & local storage
For anonymous service reliability and credit accounting, GPTAnon uses a random first-party browser cookie lasting up to 30 days. Admin-only operations records group completed answers and crosschecks, model usage, failures, credit exhaustion and actual credit charges by a keyed pseudonym of that cookie, never by an IP address or device fingerprint. These records contain no prompts or answers. Individual browser linkage is removed after 30 days; aggregate operational facts may remain. A browser is not a verified person: clearing cookies or changing devices creates a new visitor. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable this browser linkage.
We use a minimal session cookie to keep you logged in. Current private chat state is kept in this browser session until Disappearing Chat or your own clearing action removes GPTAnon’s copy.
Your rights
You can request account deletion through our support form. We remove your username, email, and subscription record; GPTAnon has no saved ordinary-Chat transcript to delete. Temporary paid-review recovery, billing, and other operational records have separate retention rules.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current version, and material changes will be communicated where required by law.
